A preventive awareness session dedicated to combating drug abuse and further enhancing passenger service standards was held at Samarkand International Airport.

As part of the event, representatives of the local law enforcement authorities conducted an educational briefing on the consequences of drug use and trafficking, current legal regulations, and the penalties associated with narcotics-related offenses. Particular emphasis was placed on promoting a healthy lifestyle and reinforcing the personal responsibility of every employee in maintaining a safe and professional working environment.

During the session, the management of AIR MARAKANDA also met with employees from the ground handling and passenger service departments to discuss key priorities for the continued development of airport services.

The discussion focused on improving operational efficiency, implementing modern passenger-centric service approaches, enhancing communication with travelers, and creating the highest possible level of comfort throughout every stage of the passenger journey.

The meeting formed part of AIR MARAKANDA’s ongoing efforts to foster a strong corporate culture, maintain high professional standards, and continuously improve the quality of services provided at Samarkand International Airport.
