Green Channel Procedure ("Nothing to Declare")

Goods carried through the Green Channel are declared verbally, except for:

• goods whose import or export is prohibited or restricted under applicable legislation;

• goods whose value and/or quantity exceeds the duty-free import allowance or the export limits established for individuals without submitting a customs declaration;

• amounts of national or foreign currency exceeding the thresholds that require written customs declaration.

Goods carried in the hand luggage or accompanied baggage of persons under the age of 16 must be declared by their accompanying adult.

If a passenger using the Green Channel is found to be carrying prohibited or restricted goods, goods exceeding the established duty-free limits, or currency subject to mandatory written declaration, the passenger shall be held liable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Red Channel Procedure ("Goods to Declare")

Passengers choosing the Red Channel are required to complete a Passenger Customs Declaration in accordance with the established procedures.

Goods carried in the hand luggage or accompanied baggage of persons under the age of 16 must be declared by their accompanying adult.

Customs authorities apply customs control measures within the Red Channel based on the principle of selectivity. The form of customs inspection is determined by the customs officer in accordance with customs legislation.

If goods subject to mandatory written declaration are found but have not been declared in the Passenger Customs Declaration, the passenger shall be held liable under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
