November 13, 2023, Samarkand. Air Marakanda has started cooperation with the Turkish airline SunExpress, within the framework of which direct flights to Izmir, Turkey's third largest city, were opened for the first time.
The first flight from Izmir to Samarkand arrived on November 13 at 4:20 a.m. (local time).
Regular passenger flights to Izmir by the SunExpress airline will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays according to the following schedule:
Departure from Izmir at 22:05 – arrival in Samarkand at 4:40.
Departure from Samarkand at 5:40 a.m. – arrival at Izmir Airport at 09:05 a.m.
The time for each airport is indicated locally.
The well-known Izmir resort is famous for its thermal baths, sandy beaches, tourist complexes, open-air museums and yacht clubs.
Tickets can be purchased at the 24-hour ticket office of Samarkand International Airport, as well as on the airline's website.
