December 15, 2023, Samarkand. Air Marakanda has started cooperation with a new private airline Humo Air, which launched a direct flight between Samarkand and the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the city of Tashkent.

The opening ceremony of the first flight to Tashkent took place at the terminal of Samarkand International Airport. It was attended by Maria Sharavina, Deputy General Director for Corporate Communications at Air Marakanda, and Aigul Muminova, a representative of Humo Air.

Traditionally, management representatives cut the red ribbon, thereby marking the opening of the airline’s first flight from Samarkand to Tashkent, and the first passengers were treated to branded cupcakes.

Daily flights on the route Tashkent - Samarkand - Tashkent will be operated according to the following schedule:

Departure from Tashkent – at 14:20, arrival in Samarkand – at 15:15.

Departure from Samarkand – at 15:45, arrival in Tashkent – at 16:35.

Tickets, the cost of which starts from 99,000 soums, can be purchased on the official website of the airline and at the 24-hour ticket office at Samarkand International Airport.
