February 9, 2024, Samarkand. The Samarkand Institute of Foreign Languages hosts the third annual independent business event, the Samarkand Tourism Forum. The forum is organized for participants in the tourism sector of the Central Asian region, and is also an event of the year for travel experience creators and sellers of travel services.

The program of the event includes panel discussions, workshops, round tables and master classes with the participation of tourism industry professionals from 9 countries.

Ayub Sabirov, Head of the Aviation Commerce Department at Air Marakanda, took part in the panel discussion "How To: public-private partnership in tourism in Central Asia", where together with colleagues from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan they discussed the advantages of PPP-based projects and the development of existing ones, as well as the creation of new destinations for rapid growth in the global tourism market with the active participation of the state and local authorities.
