13 December 2024, Samarkand. Air Marakanda congratulates Wizz Air Abu Dhabi on the 2nd anniversary of the launch of flights to Samarkand. Direct flights between Samarkand and Abu Dhabi were first launched on 13 December in 2022.

During the two years of co-operation, the airline has carried 186,000 passengers between Samarkand and Abu Dhabi.
The flights operate five times a week according to the following schedule:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing from Abu Dhabi at 5:30, arriving in Samarkand at 9:45;
- The return departure from Samarkand on these days of the week is 10:35, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 13:15.

Tickets are available on the airline's website and mobile application, as well as at the 24-hour air ticket office of Samarkand International Airport. Online check-in for flights is free of charge in accordance with the low-cost carrier's fares. Check-in for Abu Dhabi flights directly at the airport terminal will be charged.
