As part of the cooperation between Air Marakanda and Pobeda Airlines, flights were launched between Samarkand and the capital of the Russian Federation — Moscow.
The solemn opening of the start of Pobeda Airlines flights to Moscow took place at the terminal of Samarkand International Airport, which was attended by Anton Vitrishchak — Deputy Commercial Director of Pobeda Airlines and Dmitry Martynenko — Director of the Commercial Department of AIR MARAKANDA.
Samarkand is called the city of eternal sun and warmth! Warmth, which is often lacking for residents of the Russian capital! I am glad that thanks to the friendly partnership of our countries, today we are launching the first flight of Pobeda Airlines to Samarkand. Let this flight become one of the most popular in the airline’s route network! Welcome aboard!
During the ceremony, the first passenger of flight DP998 Samarkand — Moscow was identified and awarded. It turned out to be a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan — Jumanova Raikhon. Dmitry Martynenko, on behalf of AIR MARAKANDA, presented the first passenger with a certificate for service in the new CIP hall of Samarkand airport.
The first flight from Moscow to Samarkand was greeted traditionally with a water arch, and the crew and passengers were greeted with national treats and sounds of karnay-surnay.
Pobeda Airlines aircraft will operate their flights to Moscow twice a week: on Fridays and Mondays, departing from Samarkand at 6:20.
One can purchase air tickets at the lowest fares and order additional services on the website of Pobeda Airlines, as well as around the clock at the ticket office of Samarkand International Airport.
