August 6, 2024, Samarkand. New universal POS terminals from Yangi Bank have been installed at Samarkand International Airport, which now support payment via WeChat Pay. This innovation will be a convenient solution for guests and tourists from China visiting the airport.

Passengers using the popular Chinese app WeChat Pay will now be able to pay for purchases by simply scanning a QR code generated by the terminal. The move is aimed at creating a comfortable and convenient environment for Chinese travelers, who can now pay as easily as they do at home without worrying about cash or unfamiliar payment systems.

It should be recalled that Samarkand International Airport serves flights to two Chinese cities - Urumqi and Xi'an - and strives to provide a high level of service to its passengers. The installation of new terminals is part of a broader strategy to improve comfort for foreign tourists and simplify their stay at the airport.

Air Marakanda's priority is to provide a high level of service and satisfaction to all passengers.
